Announcements:

1.  Chris Melancon has announced another pending order for an ESP.  This is a NOAA contract and willgo to the NW Fisheries Science Center in Seattle, WA.

2.  Audio track for the D-ESP YouTube movie will be recorded next week.  Linda Kuhnz on vacation for 2 weeks but will have movie finished soon after her return.

This was  short week due to Labor Day (Monday) and an off Friday.

Issues:

  • Julie ran full-phase through MOE last night with no glitches.  She hopes to have MOE canned for BioSpace on Sep 15; she leaves for vacation Sep 16-Oct10.  
  • ISUS
    • D-ESP:  Luke has a Vicor power supply we can use; we've order him a replacement.
    • NEO: ISUS will be given to John for refurbish and readiness for BioSpace.
  • BioSpace ESP deployment is Sep 28, 29.  Three machines:  MOE w/PCR at M0.  Bruce and Mack, both running only HAB, HAB/DA will be in the shadow and the bight.  Which/where to be decided next week.  Will work with Aaron from Zephyr when they return from CANON to decide how they'd like to do the deployments.  LISST machine to go on the mooring that deploys in the shadow.

Julie has run full-phase, and will run another tonight.  No problems.

will be first to get the new, stiffer springs for clamp testing.
